calendar program?
Does anyone know a good, but simple calendar program?
Here is what I need: Something with a good calendar/task system. Must have task or not type of feature. A lot like Outlook, but I don't want the address book/email junk. I use Mozilla as my browser/email... something on mozilla would be nice, but necessary. What I would like: If possible, I would use the calendar on two different windows systems, so I would like it if it had a sync feature or something that I sync up the two programs. Open Source or not, whatever. Any ideas? |
I liked my Palm software. I think I had it sync w/ Outlook... but my palm pilot got stolen =( I sorta stopped keeping track of things after that.
The little I still use I like yahoo mail. I can access it from anywhere. |
palm desktop is great.... i use it and the great thing is that you don't need a palm pilot to run it. you can download it at download.com. and it's free. not sure about your specific requirements, but you might want to give it a go.

Google for calender software.
Off topic: I deleted the "alexa" spyware search engine from my Palm software, phewww, big mistake. Let it spy. It is a pain in the ass to uninstall/reinstall the Palm desktop software. |
the Palm Pilot desktop (even though I do not have a palm pilot) is perfect! Just letting you all know.

Using the Calendar feature at Yahoo sounds like your best bet.
Mozilla has a Calendar plugin/extension in the works, check it out at the homepage. You didn't specify Windows or Linux, the KCalendar (?) program that comes with KDE works pretty well. It allows you to save your iCalendar file to an internet site. I think .Mac has a calendar program as well. If you have a Mac. |
WinDates is a shareware program I use at home and work. Very handy alert system, barebones - but it has several nifty features. http://www.rockinsoftware.com/windates.htm
