Windows Live Messenger
I have windows live messinger on our family computer to be able to chat to friends. This computer is shared by my family. Is there anyway that it can be set up to only be turned on when I am on line? We always keep the computer on, and tt always starts up on its own whenever we access the internet. I am always having to apologize to friends who send me a message because they think I am online, and then wonder why they never get a response.
I would like to keep it off until I actually want it on. Is there a way of doing this? Thanks |

Open and log into Live messenger, there under file (hard to find I know) there you have options. Under Sign In option you should be able to tailor it's behavior to your needs. I always disable the "Automatically run live messenger when I log on to windows"
