PC satellite speakers...
Can they be connected to stereo that uses small satellite speakers? I have Klipsh Promedia 2-1 pc speakers with a dead subwoofer and a Sony STRK840P pro logic receiver. The Sony speakers are really small and the Klipsh are really nice. Can the Klipsh be connected to Sony receiver? I the Klipsh book says they must have min. of 4 impedance but doesn't mention anything else but they are directly connected to the sub which is plugged to ac outlet. Will my idea work?

i don't see why not. I use a logitech 5.1 speaker system as my home theater, plugged right into my tv.

Do any of the speakers have the volume control/power on button built in, or was all of that controlled by the sub? If the sub controlled everything and the speakers are identical with no additional electronics built in, it shouldn't be an issue.
