Splitting a long mp3 into tracks
I download quite a few DJ mixes and most of them are uncut, 60+ minute mp3's. Obviously, searching to the middle of the track using anything other than a computer is a bit of a hassle.
I'd like to cut the mp3 into tracks so that I can name and tag the individual songs instead of just having big chunks of sound. Can you folks recommend some software that will do this as painlessly as possible? Thanks, -healer

Just to clarify regarding Audacity. For each part of the track you want to split, apply a label [ctrl+B]- then choose file->export multiple and you'll end up with separate track with the label as the file name.
I use audacity to split our recorded performance into tracks after concerts - this feature is just fantastic!
