Picture resizing
Is there any freeware or common programs out there that can resize multiple pictures simultaneously? I routinely have a ton of images that I need to shrink before e-mailing, and hate resizing them one at a time.

Irfanview

Worked like a charm, thanks!

I know you got this done, but I recommend FastStone Image Viewer. It has a lot of other features that can be run as a batch. It actually looks a lot like Irfanview...

I am glad I found this, I was just looking for some way to downsize about 400+ pics.
The gf's mom and dad love to leave their camera set on the highest resolution possible for general BS picture taking and what not at family functions, holidays, etc. So then they either burn you 20 CD's or e-mail you a million files because they have each pic coming in at the 2+ MB mark and it makes it a royal pain in the ass. I have never even looked at the advanced options in Irfanview |
if you are using XP there is a powertoy from microsoft that works really well.
|
M$ Office/Outlook will offer to rezise pictures when attached to message.
Just a point for those that are using Office and don't want to install extra applications. Yours ZB |

ok, I installed the powertoy. Went to an image folder, right click and selected resize image and it just hangs there and is searching for the resizer.
|
At least you could find where to download Powertoy. Does anyone else hate Microsoft webpages?
|
That Powertoy is worthless. Noticeably degrades the quality of your images to unusable standards.
