Accessing email - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I've got a really dumb question....but Im sure someone here can answer it for me.

I need to access an email account from work. I cannot do it through outlook (our company firewall blocks the access I need)

Is there a web based way to access an email account that would be coming from my own domain name if I know the mail server information?

I've used mail2web.com - Pick Up Your Email in the past, never had any issues with it. Don't know if the firewall will get in the way, however.
