Seattle PHP job opportunity

I am working for a small healthcare IT start-up as a PHP developer and we're looking for some more programmers. It is a very open and supportive environment with great people all around. I'm intentionally leaving out specific technologies we use because I don't want for someone to see "Postgres" and become intimidated by it because they've only used MySQL -- they are VERY similar technologies, and I had never used Postgres before I started working here. Even mentioning PHP may be a mistake, as it really is easy to transition to it from practically any scripting language.

Could it be done remotely? If so, I'm interested in talking further. I've been doing PHP professionally for the last 4 years, and been in web development in general since 1997.

i'm such a PHP noob. I dabble in it by modding the crap out of php content management/forum stuff (kinda like the hax stuff on tfp)

I wouldn't know where to start in the slightest when it comes to starting from scratch.

I'm unsure how receptive the bosses would be with working remotely, but I assume it would depend on how receptive you'd be to occasionally traveling with us to on-site launches and such. I'll PM you the email to send your resume and such to, and our posting on our website.

See, Shauk, you can spend your free time at work learning PHP. I did that when I was working at an ISP, actually.

I did the same thing, honestly. It's a good practical way to learn PHP and get a sense for digging through other peoples' code.
