Anyone ditching their existing HD DVDs?

Just curious, is any HD-DVD early adopter planning on ditching all their gear and going Blu-Ray? Personally, I'm sticking with HD-DVD for now, since I have the player and some movies and refuse to buy a PS3. Plus, this summer should be a GREAT time to pick up movies on the Red format. :-p

I'm a bargain hunter, and if I had a HD screen, I'd probably pick up a HDDVD player for that very reason.

The BD stuff is getting cheaper and more bargains abound. Players for PCs are just above $100

blktour, they are selling new for $49... what are you willing to part with it for? I could really use the blue laser for a project I want to work on when I get home.

On that note, do you have HD-DVDs you plan to get rid of?

Nope! I'm actually getting more media now than when I got it back in November from the $90 WalMart sale. I just purchased about 9 movies from a few different Hollywood Videos in my local area and I have heard that this Sunday, Fry's will be selling "select" HD-DVD's for "buy 2 get 3 free", but it all depends on the selection.

On top of that, my Toshiba A2 player is an excellent upconverting DVD player, so even when I max out my HD-DVD collection, any SD movies I buy will still look fantastic on it.
