Help with Start Menu
Alright, so I got my new comp built, blah blah (update will be coming in another thread).
I installed windows on it and some things are different than the XP on my old computer. Both are XP Pro SP2. For one, when I press the start button on my old comp, I get a Shut Down menu which brings up a window with a pull down bar with a selection of options (Log Off, Shut Down, Restart, Standby). In the new comp, however when I press start I get a Shut Down menu and a separate Log Off menu which brings up these three buttons. How do I change those three buttons to a pull down menu?

Let's hope it did.
Some other things in case you run into some other aesthetic problems: TweakUI (***) - "This PowerToy gives you access to system settings that are not exposed in the Windows XP default user interface, including mouse settings, Explorer settings, taskbar settings, and more." Nice to tinker with. I set my school provided laptop to auto-login to my account always, then with FastKake, cause it to lock the screen. Preloading is Choice.More here. More of mine here.

I haven't tried it yet as I'm still copying files (150GB takes a long time over USB and back). I'll update on that later tonight.

Not really. It's an external IDE hard drive. I don't really feel like swapping.
UPDATE: Yes, it did help. Thanks!
