Erasing History
How do I delete the history of my previous searches. For instance, when using google and you type a word a drop down menu opens up. I want to reset it so its fresh.

If you are using Internet Explorer go to Tools then Internet Options. Go to the Content tab and click the Auto Complete button. Uncheck the options you do not want, and select Clear Forms and Clear Passwords if pertinent.

I'll assume you are using Windows, since you didn't say.
If you need to clear out that information on a regular basis, install CCleaner, which will clear a selected list of things (including search results) on each startup. |
Thanks. I downloaded CCleaner and it seems to be a good program.

Ccleaner and window washer are a mighty duo. I have found that it takes them both sometimes.

Webroot's Window Washer? There are a couple free programs with "Windows Washer" in the name, so I wonder if you are using one of those instead.
