does anyone know what plays .flv files?
Windows Media Player and DivX dont seem to!
there's a ton of FLV players you can get online. www.download.com has a bunch. Just search for FLV Player.
FLash Video is generally intended for playing by flash players embedded in websites. Where'd you get it?
vlc plays them i believe.

To save you the hassle of searching for another player when you run into a file that won't play again, I'd recommend VLC media player. It will pretty much play anything you throw at it (avi, divx, mp4, flv, mov, etc.) However, it doesn't support Real Media, but who uses that anymore?

My admittedly older vlc player doesn't play flv files, but I downloaded the aptly named "flv player", and it works fine.
