7) Who will get an upgrade for free?

All users who have purchased the Nero 5.5 Retailbox version (NOT the OEM version that came bundled with your drive or PC) after the 1st of May 2003, will receive a free e-mail upgrade to Nero 6.

8) How can I receive a free upgrade?

AWSOME! nero is the bomb Dank and this looks like its much more comprehensive bout damned time the Put out a new version but im Glad to see that they just didnt Pump out new versions with afew things changed. Seems like Nero 6 will be software to contend with. DOWN WITH ADEPTIC

Oh yeah.... I really really really hope that you can 'turn off' nero express. It is okay the first time you use it, but then it just gets annoying. I liked the original version where you had to dick around with everything to get it the way you wanted. Express made it WAY too easy...

Thanks for the heads-up spleen. I'll definitely have to get this when I have the chance - Nero is great and I burn a ton of CDs so I look forward to trying it out.

It seems much of it is a facelift without a lot of new stuff?? Well, the ImageDrive thingy might be cool but Daemon Tools works great and is $0.

I hope Nero isn't doing what Roxio does - a fresh coat of paint on an otherwise unchanged application.

ImageDrive isn't new.

This looks like a lot of crap. I just want a burn program.

I've always used Nero from its first day out--but I hope all the other "features" can be turned off (as in, not installed to begin with).

nero is worth s**t imo...
I wouldn't even risk comparing it to winoncd or other programs.

I can't understand how can ppl use this crap...
new version, old version -> same xxxxxx

(sorry for that to all nero fans, but it's just my opinion based on a few days when i actually tried to use this hmmmm "program")

I live by Nero. Can't stand the candy coat on EZCD, last time I used it it seemed "too user friendly." I couldnt do what I wanted.

Doesn't look like Nero6 is adding too much more, that huge list makes it sound like they're adding a lot of bloat =(

ImageDrive does sound interesting... I dunno why they havent done it before. Toast has been doing it since I can remember (Roxio even bought Toast). Maybe Nero6 will replace my copy of Alcohol 120%(which comes in handy while testing autoplay stuff)... hope so, I'd rather have one app handle all my CD/Imaging needs.
