Notebook Trackpad and Windows XP

I have a velocity micro notebook..running Windows XP.

The trackpad is nice and all, but it's a real pain in the ass that every time I tap the pad it acts as a mouse click. Is there anyway to disable the mouse click part of the trackpad, so that I just have to hit the primary or secondary buttons to click instead?

The Mouse control panel Did Not have these options.

Thanks.

The notebook vendor may have a program that will allow you to do that, but so far I think the only thing I have seen is one from Apple which will disable clicks while typing.
