any good 'free' antivirus programs?

Hi there, now that avg is a paid service, i'm wondering if anyone recommends other free antivirus software that works?

AVG is still free. If you go to http://free.grisoft.com/ , see there where is says FREE BASIC PROTECTION, and then subsequently also gives you a download link right below it? Yeah, still free and still great!

it just gives you the basic virus protection with no extras, tech support, firewall, etc.

clamwin does not have an on access scanner, only scheduled scans.

True, but it does have an Outlook plug-in. I look forward to it having an on-access scanner though!

AVG is still my #1 recommendation. the ones by comodo sound great as well.
that's the company that makes my FIREWALL. much better than zonealarm.
