Javascript help.
I'm Stumped... On my webpage, I am creating a scrolling background image. I've found 4 different scripts and they all work when I view them offline but when I upload and view them they don't work. Here is my scrolling background Whenever I try to view to page it looks like it keeps refreshing the page 20 times a second. (You may have to refresh, or ctrl-refresh before it quits working)
BTW when it gets on the webpage it won't be tiled across the screen... I can't post the other scripts because the code tags aren't working correctly. What could be causing this? |
here try this http://javascript.internet.com/bgeff...-scroller.html
the code looks exactly the same but different variables, it works in IE for me, though i dont really use IE |
hmm this is wierd.. It was working, then I clicked your link(which I have looked at previously), and went back to my page and it quit working. I think it has something to do with how the image is stored in the cache but I have no idea how to fix it.
