Office 2007 "Save As Web Page" Problem
In my old version of Office (2000), saving something as a webpage meant I could just take the resulting .htm file and put it on my server and it was all good. Now, whether I'm using Excel or Word, I upload the .htm file and all I get is a blank page. I even uploaded the folder with the extra files in it (tabstrip, etc.). Does anyone have a solution for me?

I'd help you, but I have only used the feature once (just to see how bad it was).
It's entirely possible they removed it in 2007, because it's the most inefficient website generation I've EVER seen. Quote:
You may want to research exporting into another format (txt or rtf) for conversion by another program to htm.

i'm only using it because I have tournament style brackets for a contest I'm doing and don't feel like figuring that out in HTML. I'll keep trying though, thanks
(looking at the page source, you're right. the amount of crap in the first 100 lines is mind boggling) |
