It is in beta now and I downloaded it last night. Not too bad. Once all the bugs are out, I could see liking it better than IE 7 which I prefer to Firefox these days.

I'm using it now and it's noticeably faster. I've been using Firefox since it came out, but frankly it doesn't offer anything I need that Safari doesn't have... and Safari is faster. Also, you can link it with your iPhone when you get one and transfer over bookmarks and settings.
I'm more interested in the fully 64 bit Leopard OS coming out in October. Jeez, that's going to be slick. |

Interesting. When I get access to a Windows machine, I'll take a look at it. This is just a beta, so it's entirely possible this is something that was overlooked or a glitch (though I've never experienced a glitch in any Mac betas before).

I use Opera for speed, but for most casual browsing, I use Firefox.
I've read Safari for Windows is a bit lacking in the security department, and I've heard the only real advantage Safari holds over Firefox after extensions is the nifty inline search "overlay" feature. Meh.

I don't understand the "need for speed" when handling the difference of speed of all of 1 second or something in most cases.
Besides the fact that I think Safari is too utilitarian looking, Im enjoying my redshift v2 reskin of Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...preview/4521/3 |

I dunno, I'm not really interested in my computing options beyond my windows vista stuffs. I spend more time actually doing stuff on my computer than dinking around with the background to do obscure stuff that serves no purpose to me. (read: *nix, macs)
