pc only boots when reseating the cpu
hi there guys woke up yesterday and my pc won't boot so i tried reseating everything and nothing worked but when i re-seated the cpu it did work and i used it for a bit. then when i shut the pc down and used it again at a different time it won't boot. my question is would it be the cmos battery, cpu, or the mobo? it's a 2.6 ghz p4 asus p4c800 1gb mem.

If you have to contunually reseat the CPU to restart, then you may be looking at either a loose pin on the processor, or an issue with the MB Pinch socket for the CPU.
