Partition changed from NTFS to EXT3
Hi there!
I wanted to run Windows XP and Xubuntu (linux) on the same computer, so i installed partitionmagic on my computer (alredy running windows XP (NTFS)) and then i created a EXT3 Partition and gave the windows partition 50gb of space and the linux partion 30 GB. After that I installed Xubuntu, on the EXT3 partition, and rebooted the computer. But instead of booting Xubuntu, it began to boot windows, and came up with the error message: "autochk program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK"... Then i runned partition magic and found out that now there was only 1 partition (80GB) and that was the Ext3 partition? So now i can't boot any of the OS. I have some pretty important files on the Windows partition that I would hate to loose.. What can I do? Thank you in advance |
