In the near future, I intend to open a Coffehouse/Cafe, and wish to make this place quite different from the norm in a few ways. My hope is to link the venue to internet forum software such as Vbulletin through a downloadable add-on attached to the software mainpages of the forum software, that allows for a unique subforum used to plan and institute physical meetups of the members.
My request is for opinions on the creation of this add-on software from the many Coding Gurus of tfp, and the logistics/obstacles to implementation of this part of the business plan. While I fully understand the risks involved in beginning a new venture, My hope is to gain insight into exactly what may be involved in this aspect of the business, and integrate the results into the larger picture.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and who knows.....you may be a part of something great as this thing unfolds.

Ummm, why do you need additional software? There are many forums out there that have "meets" of members from the same geographical area.

It seems I don't fully understand what you're striving for.
