package for a small retail store (inventory/database)
 

hi there...

a guy i know asked me about putting together a package for his small leather ware store. he stocks motorcycle riding jackets and boots etc...

i know access and figure thats a decent place to start for his database, but would love to hear about something better.

i've done inventory databases before but never with a retail environment where theft and control are concerns. i guess i just wondered if there are any forums about reviews on different software packages out there or even if any of you had any reccomendations yourselves. simply googling stuff has been unsatisfying so far.
