Extract Audio From Web?
hey everybody hows it going? i am a huge alison krauss fan and the other day i came across this video on cmt.com LINK. i am wanting to put this song on my ipod. i cant find it on any albums or itunes and i think she does a awesome job on the james taylor classic. can anyone tell me how to extract that onto my computer so i can rip the audio from it? i would appreciate it. thanks

i always record audio using audacity, it's a free open source audio editor, just set your input to your "stereo mixer". in your preferences, set your recording to record two channels for stereo.
i tried to test it but it said "PC Users with Netscape, Mozilla or Firefox: you need to run Internet Explorer to use CMT Loaded." soo i tried it on google video and it worked. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ go here to download it |
thanks ill give it a try

i've never used audacity but i used mp3MyMp3 and it works very well.
http://www.mp3mymp3.com/ give it a shot. you can pick what source you want. it's great! |
audacity or Goldwave will work well...like auqafox said, set your recorder to stereo mix and it's gravy.
