Dual Monitors, Different Resolutions?
XP SP2
GeForce 6800GT I got a gorgeous 19in LCD for christmas, so when I got home I hooked it up + my old 17in CRT to run dual screens. The only options nVidia / nView give are Span and Clone. Clone to me is useless, and span is, well, span. How do I get it so that I can have my 1280x1024 on the LCD on the left, and a lower resolution on the CRT on the right? I've done this before! Bah. Thanks |

I noticed reduced multi-monitor options with their new interface and newest drivers. It wasn't the main problem I was fighting but when I switched back to FW 91.47 and "classic" controls the options returned. You might play around with those a bit. The 93.71 release has caused major grief.

weird. can't you just do it in the display propreties?
right click desktop > propreties > settings tab > and then you can play around with the 2 monitor's resolution. i'm saying this because that's what i have setup as well. 6600gt with 2 17inch. i can pick the resolutions for both independently.

Yup. Nothing is perfect, eh?
Oh well. All I have to do is just swap those real quick which isn't too much of a pain (i leave the screws loose). Now I can look at pr0n on the left while tweaking my server on the right. edit: Mexican, your avatar = broken. |
