Freezing at Welcome Screen
I recently plugged in the pins for the front audio port on my case when the computer was on. Now, when I start the computer, it freezes at the blue screen that says "Welcome".
It works fine in safe mode but I can't get past the freeze at all, only in safe mode.

I have to ask if you tried removing the pins? You're sure you had them connected correctly? I haven't seen that problem but it wouldn't surprise me much if a driver (loaded during Welcome) is blocked because the audio hardware won't initialize because of a grounded or powered pin that shouldn't be. You know, the hip bone's connected to the sound manager.

in safe mode, remove your soundcard drivers. then try in normal mode. if you boot normaly, then it's your soundcard that's the problem. i'm telling you this because it happened to me. the welcome screen plays a WAV file and thats when it crashes since the soundcard can't handle it. once i removed the drivers, it worked and i was able to install them again (fresh version).
