A Jovial Tale of Keyboard Mishap
I went to a LAN on friday night, gamed all night and came home exhausted yesterday morning. I went to sleep for about twelve hours, woke up at 8:30 in the dark and spontaneously decided to hook up my equipment so I could get back online.
I already had my server hooked up, so I figured I'd check email/myspace/etc - all I'd need to do was hook the keyboard up. I grabbed it and plugged it in to my KVM switch (this may be the critical part?) and rebooted the server, only to find that my F7 key was having a spaz-fit. I had to do a bunch of workarounds until I found an app online that would disable that key. Eventually I hooked up my main rig, but I had to turn the lights on to set that up. It was then when I realized I had stuffed the PURPLE keyboard connector into the GREEN mouse connector. I blinked and realized, "WAIT, but it still almost completely worked?" How did this happen? |

I don't know how that happened but it sorta makes me want to try. Ha ha ha. It would be entertaining if you used the keys on the keyboard to move the cursor around.
