Help with Viewing - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

All right guys I am having problems with viewing pictures embedded in this site as well as other sites.

As you scroll down and the next picture is about to pop on it stalls waits a little bit and then lets you scroll down to the next pic. It does this no matter how many windows or tabs are open with pictures in them. and then if you try and close or minimize the window it does the minimize slowly from the top thing. It is driving me crazy.

Is there a fix for this or anything I can to help this ting run smooth. I would love to be able to smotth scroll.

Latest Version of Firefox
Windows XP
Dell Laptop Lattitude 6000
256 RAM
lots of free space on hard drive.
