Server 1:
Name: Win2kserver1
OS: Windows 2000 Server

Server 2
Name: Server01
OS: Windows Server 2003

I want to migrate the active directory from server 1 to server 2 using the active directory migration tool v2.0 on server 2, but the program is having small issues recognizing server 2 since it only sees server 1.

What do I to configure on Server 1 & Server 2 for the ADMT v2.0 to work properly?

What other software programs can I use to migrate active directory from one server to another?

I tried to move my active directories between the same two OS machines and had no luck. I ended up writing a script to pull all the names etc off of the old drive and move it to the other. Major pain in the ass. I believe it was a kernel problem although it was 2 years ago so I could be wrong.
