I didnt know if I should post this in music or computers... kinda works both ways right?

I am looking for a mp3 editor that has alot of otions to play with. I need to cut up some songs and I would like to try and mix a bit too. Anyone have any recommendations?

Acid Pro. The BEST mixer out there, and its effects capabilities are more robust than many standalone audio editors. You can't beat this program.

I use Traktor DJ Studio 2 for specific mixing of mp3s. you can save a mix and export it to a CD etc.

Acid Pro is great for making songs, re-mixes etc but I find Ableton Live is brilliant if you're using wavs, it is extremely easy to use and flexible, and you can create your own instruments, basslines and drums etc

Audacity is also a very nice (And free) audio editor/recorder. Maybe worth checking out.
