More on Case Mods
I have seen some pretty cool cases at TFP. It got me thinking about building my own, and I am looking for ideas. I wondered if anyone has modified their case by building a wooden box around their 'puter to make it look more like a piece of furniture. I'm thinking of building something like a speaker cabinet with a mesh grille on the front that swings to one side to access the drives.
If anyone has suggestions, or pics of other case mods that they have not posted, please share - I could use some inspiration!

Well google is a great place to start, but here are some links that might help you out
http://www.pcmods.com/list.asp?CtgID=114 http://metku.net/modgallery/detail.php?id=481 http://www.speakeasy.org/~rainwalk/p...cust_woody.htm http://www.speakeasy.org/~rainwalk/p...uake_woody.htm Think they look ugly as hell, but to each his own I guess. Oh and wood acts as a bitch of an insulator so a wood case will need a ton of fanage |

Well it's not much of a piece of furniture but I just took an old crate I had layin around that I used to use to carry 45 records and bolted some components into that and had myself a comp. Now THAT took some effort
