Ok. I just got promoted at work and I have alot of things to keep track of and my RAZR just isn't cutting it anymore. So I've decided since I'm not on a contract with cingular right now, I can re-up for 2 years and get a killer deal on a new PDA Phone. My 2 choices right now are the Cingular 8125, the Treo 650 (I'm pretty sure they make a Treo 650 for cingular networks)

I like the idea of the 8125 because it runs Windows Mobile 5.0 and has a 'full size' thumb qwerty keyboard. My buddy has a Treo 650 and it can be difficult to type on. But both are pda phones. Any feedback for me?

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I love my 650. Once you get used to the size of the keys, typing on it isn't difficult.

For me, Palm OS has always hit the sweet spot between simplicity and power. The 650 is smaller and more pocketable, TOTALLY flexible and very well thought-out, designwise.

I've had a demo of it (although it's called something different over here), and it's pretty good.

I've never been too fond of the 650 for some reason. I'm getting a UTStarcomm 650 (not sure if Cingular carries it) and it's comparable to the 650. There are pros/cons to each the only 2 things I don't like about the UTStarcomm is it doesn't have an external volume control and it doesn't have a full keyboard like the Treo does (iirc).

I personally like the 650s but very much dislike the W version of them. They are quite buggy and when you tell someone you have a Palm Treo and then you say, "No it's the Windows one..." well you've missed out on the simplicity of the Palm like ratbastid said.

I just found out that you have to get rid of temp files on a Windows Pocket whatever they call it now....what a pain in the ass.
