how to disable internet sounds - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

hi! i'm using Firefox and i'd like to know if theres a way to disable sounds comming from anything like flash players or popups.

the main reason is that i'm playing some DICEWARS and trying to listen to mp3s at the same time but the sounds from the game are so loud that it's affecting my music.

any help is really apreciated!

Adblock? You won't see the ad and I'm fairly certain it will also block the sounds.

Yes, adblocking software should do the trick. Of course, the other option is to play your music on another machine, or a CD player. Or just hum to yourself.

hmm. what about from flash players that i want to view but not the get the sound? i do have adblock but it wasnt working for those popups.

I came across this application that sounds it will do what you want it to do. I haven't tested it out myself, but I hope it works for you!
