Horizontal Scroll with mousewheel - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I'm looking for a way to control horizontal scrolling with my mousewheel when a modifier key is held down. So if I scroll with, say, Alt or Ctrl held down, I control the horizontal scroll bar instead of the vertical one.

this seems like such an obvious feature to me, but i can't find a tool that enables it. any ideas? i guess i'm looking for a tool that will work on any/most apps under XP.

Not sure about any apps that do this, but my mouse wheel has the capability to be titled right or left to do the same.

yea, i know some mice have that feature, but i'm not looking to get a whole new mouse for it. I really like the mouse I got now...
