Treo 700
 

Hey,

I know quite few of us TFPers have Treo's. Just wondered if anybody else has switched to the new 700w.

My 600 finally took a dump and I was forced to make the leap to WindowsMobile. At this point, I am really impressed. Just like the original, you have to just jump in and start using it. I still haven't done everything but I'm getting there.

WM 5.0 is not bad, it is just different from the Palm OS. Everyone says it needs more than 32MB internal memory. The programs stay running in the background, unlike Palm OS, so the internal memory gets used up pretty quickly. It is easy to close the programs though so I don't anticipate it being a big deal.

MP3, wmv, Word, Excel, 6 e-mail accounts, EVDO internet access, Bluetooth, wireless sync, storage card for data and programs, 1.3 megapixel camera with zoom, the transfer from Palm desktop to Outlook was relatively painless too.
