iPod problem, please help
Hi all. My 4GB iPod mini has freaked out. It shows no songs under "music" but in the "About" field I show only 109 MB free. iTunes says I have to do a factory reset because it can't see the iPod. How can I do a factory reset? I've tried the center button/menu reset. Help!!!

While the iPod is hooked up to the computer you can push the menu and center button and hold it for like 6 seconds and that will reset it, I hope that helps.
It did mine...

That should be a given shouldn't it? I mean the screen flashes DO NOT DISCONNECT and all? ![]() Yeah the PC was probably writing some data to the pod when you pulled the plug and something went and got itself corrupted. Good thing you had it backed up.
