iPod problem, please help
Hi all. My 4GB iPod mini has freaked out. It shows no songs under "music" but in the "About" field I show only 109 MB free. iTunes says I have to do a factory reset because it can't see the iPod. How can I do a factory reset? I've tried the center button/menu reset. Help!!!

While the iPod is hooked up to the computer you can push the menu and center button and hold it for like 6 seconds and that will reset it, I hope that helps.
It did mine...

That should be a given shouldn't it? I mean the screen flashes DO NOT DISCONNECT and all? Yeah the PC was probably writing some data to the pod when you pulled the plug and something went and got itself corrupted. Good thing you had it backed up.
