menu not loading properly
A few days ago, I noticed the menus, (for example, if I press the "File", "Edit", etc on the toolbar, or if I right click,) the words don't show if my mouse point don't go over them. So if you clicked "File", you would see the outline of the drop down menu, but until you moved down, you wouldn't see "New", "Open", etc.
It's kind of driving me crazy. :hmm: |
theres a feature that hides infrequently used commands, not that is it? do you mean it takes up space but just isnt visible until you mouse over?
If it is only occuring in ms office applications search and find the file called normal.dot and delete it, the next time you open word or excel it will re-create the default template and that fixes some menu problems (like when you completely hide your toolbar out of visible range). Other than that, i'd check for spyware, ive seen some spyware cause an effect that makes everything appear in mouse down state which is greyed out invisible until you mouse over it. |
