Can't view vid clips in Firefox
HHi all. I have Firefox 1.5 and I can't view .mpg or .wmv files. They work fine in IE but I don't want to use IE for anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

MikeSty, I was having the same problem and traced it to the quicktime installation. Try either DLing the latest quicktime version from apple or use the alternative codec pack.
You can get the alternative codec here Here. I use it since quicktime is such a resource hog, and it lets you play .mov files in other player as well. Last edited by Scorpion23; 04-05-2006 at 06:46 AM.. Reason: Forgot the HTML :-/ |

A little search on here would have been a good thing, not saying your answer is in the thread below, but there are a lot of replies and the problems are VERY similar to what you are having, not to mention the thread is about 6 below this one.
