MSN Messenger Virus
Heads Up!
Last night while I was chatting on messenger to a friend, someone who was not part of my list (she was deleted, but not blocked) popped in and sent over a message and a link to an emoticon. Like a moron (cause I trusted her) I clicked on it and it installed a virus. The first thing the virus did is shut off my anti-virus, and then it replicated and sent itself to everyone who was signed in on my messenger window. It looks quite innocent coming from someone you know, but it was nasty. Thankfully I've got GoBack installed so I just restarted and restored the system to an earlier point. Morale of this story is Don't Click on Anything in Messenger!

I've gotten a couple of nasty e-mails from people I don't know when a virus snagged my e-mail from someone else's address book and inserted it in the "from" field.
