TV Tuner Software
I have a WinTV TV Tuner, and thus far I've found the software to be very poor and have heard about other software that would work with the hardware.
Does anyone know of any good tv software that I could use in place of the WinTV software? Thanks.

MythTV might serve the purpose. I've heard good things about it.

Mythtv is a good solution if you're going to have a dedicated pvr system. It runs on Linux. If you want a decent (free) software for Windows have a look at gbpvr. It's basically a Mythtv clone for windows. Although it's not open-source (which is disappointing). I've only used some alpha releases 2 and a half years ago. I'm sure it's gotten better since then.

This gbpvr software is pretty fantastic. I just installed it and I'm using it now and it's amazing. It's actually like I have Tivo

I used to use Meedio before i got Windows MCE (which i think is awesome save for the massive files the recording makes). But meedio is user friendly and stylistically cool.
