Viewing the history of a file

Hello,

I recently dropped off my computer at a help desk to fix a problem. I failed to secure several files and I want to know whether or not they were accessed while at the help desk. Looking at file properties shows you the last time the filed was accessed, modified, etc. I accessed the file before thinking about seeing whether it was accessed while at the help desk. Is there any way to get a more detailed picture of recent access?

Thanks!

Unless your computer is setup in such a way that there is several users with limited privileges along with an administrator account that keeps track of user's activity, there's really no way without the help of third party software.

The best you could do is check out Start->My Recent Document
