avatar problem
 

i cant get any picture in the avatar

Uhmm...you need 250 quality posts and you need to become a full member to get one. It could take at least a couple months. Don't worry about it, just enjoy the forum.

having the same issue here, I just went to change mine and it will not show up. Using a custom avatar linked from a boomspeed.com account I have been using for my avatar for years.


any other suggestions?

100x100 and right around 12KB so it should be within the size constraints.

THere is a problem with the database... noone (who is qualified to have one anyway) can upload a new avatar.

Apparently the Mods are looking into it.

I noticed that I now have access to all the member forums, but I still do not have the option to use an avatar. Is becoming a member not connected to when you can use an avatar?

exactly.

you are at the 2nd step (newbie being the first..).

one *needs* to have Full Member status to be eligible for the avatar, yes.

but, avatar's are the next step.
