I'll be hanging in the room and whenever I try to type it doesn't appear on the screen and it's like I'm lagging real bad...but no other programs are running on my computer and I've got 512 RAM...

Is it just my computer or is it the room?

Are you using the Java Chat Popup on the board or another chatting engine such as mIRC or Xchat?

What you're describing seems to be what happens to me when I try to use the popup chat window sometimes. If you are interested in chatting and are willing to invest a few minutes, check out this thread:

Haha, yep...I thought it was a trick...

That helped on what I needed to do.

I use OS X and Xchat said it has a d/l for OS X but I didn't see it anywhere. All they had was Linux and Windows d/l...*shrugs*
