Threads being copied and pasted to other sites?
 

I was googling my screen name and ran across this thread http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...ighlight=ryobi

copied and pasted onto this site http://zoherhardware.com/article23.h...rder=0&thold=0
no mention that it came from tfp or anything of the sort on that site....kinda pissed me off that they didn't at least link to tfp or something. Maybe we all oughta email the member of that site and express our displeasure?

I think that when it obviously has the title of the forum in the link, and when you click on it there is a big header that says "TITLED FORM PROJECT" people will get the point.

the first link is the actual thread on tfp.....the second link i posted is the one that is awhere they just copied and pasted the content of that thread....nowhere on the second link does it give any mention of where they got that thread from.

I cant believe the copy/pasted the whole thing, member names and all...geez!!! Thats insane. I admit if I see something funny here I share it with my board members and I dont link back to the thread, but I give credit to which board it was on (and urge people to join over here) and I always try to ask the poster here if its ok with them for me to share it!!

Wouldn't the person who posted the discussion on the other site either be a current or past member of TFP to have access to the info? Halx, you may have found some new revenue for TFP!

TFP is freely spidered by Google, so that dude could have stumbled upon this, signed up for an account in 10 seconds, then stolen the posts.

Halx, I love that you are so willing to confront whoever did this so boldly so quickly. It is great that such a competant person is running this place.
