If I would like to start a new user name here, and only have one e-mail address, how do I go about doing so? I haven't seen any button that says, "Delete this user name" for myself. I've tried to contact two administrators, but I haven't had a reply yet. Anybody know?

Your only option is to contact an administrator and convince them that the change is necessary. If they changed everyones name whenever someone asked, the requests will be coming in daily from tons of people who want a change. You may not have received a reply because they don't want to change it.

Qwert, from what you said I guess you are not looking to change your user name, rather you just want to create a new one. However, since your email address is already in the system you can't do this. Is that about right?
Dude, email addresses are free. Just create a new address in hotmail or yahoo or one of a BILLION free services out there and, pow... Bob's your Uncle and you have a new email address with which to create your new TFP user. Otherwise, you can just be patient and wait for an admin to get back to you. They typically watch this support forum pretty closely.

Shani's Right, I tried using my other Yahoo one, but it was blocked. Hence, I only have one e-mail address that works. I could go for a new free hotmail account if it were to allow those...but I don't agree with getting a free account just to start a new name and clutter up the resources on forums with useless names. I prefer to be just about it, you know?
I shall ponder more. |

OK. I stand corrected, I guess things have changed since I signed up with my hotmail account lo those many years ago.
Be patient, I'm sure someone will get back to you by PM or this thread.

Why do you want a second name? I took a look over your posts so far, and I don't see anything from which you'd need to hide . (I used to call myself Qwerty, back about 20 years ago.)

Ahaha. Well, this name that I use is used quit often, so it would be easy for someone interested to track me down and learn some things I'd rather have them not know. That is if I ever said anything that anyone can learn that I'd rather have them not know.
