Post Generator
 

Is the Post Generator coming back? Very helpful tool. Also, how do I get to journals and webcams?

Sorry if this is obvious. I am a little lost.

Finally - in the TFP VBullitan v3 skin - there is a vbulletin logo in the upper left instead of a TFP logo. Thought I would mention it even though I am sure it is being worked on.

Really missing the post generator. Where is it? am I missing something? There are about a billion threads on this site that refer to:

which are all dead links right now.

I would imagine that many folks can't post now. I know I can't. HELP!!![U]

We're working on getting stuff back.

I couldn't be arsed manually creating large picture posts... :-)

I'm so sad I can't post. Does anyone know of any other page or utility somewhere else that I can use to generate the code? HELP!!!

if you google for 'ubb code generator' you will find a few results...

haven't tried any, and of course will be nice when our postgen is back...
but it's an alternative for now.

I just tried this one:

and it worked well. The only thing that is missing is the thing that tests to see if the pics will hotlink or not. What is the best way other than making the post and, previewing and refreshing to do this? I use Firefox so if there are any tricks in there that anyone knows of, that would be welcome too. I will test out a couple more. In the meantime, thanks a lot SiN! You always see to come through.

Try clearing your cache just before you preview. That should be enough.

This one works well for me, and has a preview capability. Actually, it loads the entire series...

Seriously, I've been trying to create a post, and without the post generator, it's been rough.

Been trying to create my first post, but in the thread starter, only the first pic shows up.

The rest just have the [IMG] location [/IMG] stuff.

Anybody know why?

an errant space between your image tages and the address is often the cuase of this.
