Hi I did a search for avators in this forum and none came up. Please direct me to the appropriate place if there is already a thread on this.

I am horrible with formatting pictures actually i border incapable.

Can someone help me create an avator in the correct size and format. I can try to supply the pic if someoe doesn t mind helping me with this.

A little more avator help, if you please. Tried to change my avatar, but can't get "edit avatar" to do anything. Have lost my origional one, and now have nothing. Reset fields doesn't help, and I am at a loss of what to do, even to get my "old dog" back...

Thanks for the site paddyjoe, have saved it and will sure use it if I ever figure out how to get an avatar back.
Heres where I am. Had an avatar, and decided to change it just for the hell of it. Went to "edit avatar" but found only a place to click if you didn't want one, or "reset fields". Resetting fiends didn't seem to do anything, so clicked that I didn't want one. That worked, my avatar went away, but now can't un-click the option, and re load a picture. I'm sure I did something stupid, but not sure what to do, or if it can be fixed...

It might be something to do with the changes around here. We might not be able to change avatars right now, who knows.

unoaman, do you see the section for Custom Avatar? That's what I have, but perhaps if I removed my avatar and wanted to upload it again, I may not have the option. Weird...

Thanks Averett...thats what I used to have also, but nothing now but choose to have, or not have an avator, and reset fields. When I clicked no avatar, mine sure went away quickly, but nothing there to get one back. I miss my nearsighted Ivan dog...

No big deal really, but am going to check with latch, see he has changed his recently...

I still have a spot to change my avatar, but I can't even find the option to change my title. And I know I changed it on the new board before. Hmm....

Nope, Birthday is the first thing in the Optional section for me. Above that is the Email & Password option. You'd think 2,154 posts would be enough, perhaps the limit is raised to 2,500 now?

Seriously peeps...haven't heard from latch yet, but don't screw with your avatar...might go the way "Ivan" did...

i have some problems too... well basically its simlar to previously.. do i need more posts or something before i get the ability to get an avator? for me it just has a tab "edit avator.." and when i click on it, it gives me no abilities to upload or link up an avator. any help?

Yep giantpizza man, you have to have 250 good valid posts to achieve avatar status. As far as I know that doesn't mean ones like "yeah man", or "Hot", they must at least be making a sensible comment.

For some reason, I have the same thing that you do, and should have the ability to change my avatar...but something is crossed up somewhere. I'm sure it will be fixed eventually.

I almost peed myself when I got to 250, and now I appear to be in unoaman's no-man's-land. No avatar for me.

Sure, I've been posting for the sake of posting, and I'll continue to post even if I never get an avatar. But I've been seeing that little carrot dangling out there for a while and it is kind of a disappointment to get to the "magic number" and have nothing happen.

No biggie. I'll just keep a look out, I guess.

That's what I meant. By "the sake of posting," I mean because I want to contribute and be a member of the community. I get something out of posting, and it's not the avatar. It's the feedback, it's the entertainment, it's being smarter today than I was yesterday.
