Is there a reason for this limit? I keep running into it, especially if I search for something, don't get the results I wanted, then try to search again.

searching is an on-command drain on system resources. CPU usage literally spikes when someone presses the submit button. If we allowed people to search over and over, you'd hardly be able to browse and we'd probably need a new server by the end of the year.
