Images don't load

Two stupid newb questions:

1. I just downloaded Mozilla, and when visiting TFP, usually only the first image will load. Sometimes when I hit re-load it will load one more. I have set the options to view all images. Any suggestions?

2. In Mozilla, where are the images stored (equivalent to "temporary internet files" on IE)?

Thanks for any help

1. I have no idea. Perhaps you have a slow connection, and the requests are timing out?

2. You have a 'profile' directory, and inside that is a directory named 'cache'. However, the files in there are all obfuscated, so that really won't help.

I assume you are trying to 'save all images' from a thread? Try installing an extension instead. For more information, read Pornzilla: Free tools for surfing porn with Mozilla Firefox.

If you're on a slower connection (dial-up) and going to a thread with a lot of pics or pics that have large file sizes, sometimes they won't completely load because it'll time out.

Thanks for the help. BTW, I am using a cable modem, no problem with speed. The first image downloads and then it says "Done" in the lower left corner.

Thanks for the Pornziilla ref. redlemon. That's exactly what I was trying to do!

Is it just this board, or can you view images elsewhere no problem?

Did you install Mozilla over an existing copy, or did you uninstall first?

It was a fresh install.

It seems to be a general issue with images. Sometimes when I visit a page, much of the site is image "symbols" until I right-click and hit "reload."

I have all the image settings to full.

Oh well . . .

Fixed. Norton Internet Security was the problem (privacy control settings).

Thanks to all who helped.
