I'm getting emails everytime someone makes a post to a thread that I started or posted in....what option is it that turns this notice off?

Click on UserCP in the top right corner. Then go to Edit Options. Then choose No for Use 'Email Notification' by default?, then click Submit Modifications. Also, if you subscribe to a thread, you will receive emails.

That's the option I thought it was...when I first started getting the emails, I checked my control panel and found that I was automatically being subscribed to threads.

I turned off the notification and the auto-subscription...the only thing that took hold was the subscriptions, I'm still getting the notifications...that's why I thought it might be a different option?

Any ideas?

You might also try deleting all the subscribed threads you have accumulated so far.

UserCP > View All Subscribed Threads > Unsubscribe from All Threads
