A couple of questions...
I've only been a member for less than six months, but I love this place. This is unlike any discussion board I've known. However, the rules of the place are also different from what I am used to, and recently I've seen people banned all of a sudden. This kind of worries me... Typically I've been to smaller boards (a 1000 members or so) and on smaller boards the community is more tight-knit, so it's easier to keep track of who's who and who does what. On TFP though, it's impossible to keep track of everything.
So, "la petite moi", who I thought was a sweet lass and all-around nice person, got banned. I don't know why, and it's not my business to know why. It's just made me worry that because it happened so quickly, if I make the wrong move I might be next. I guess my question is, are members given second chances? If I do something wrong without even realizing it, will someone at least hear me out, or is my arse toast right off the bat? I'm not a horrible person, I don't bitch at people, but I have what to me are weird hobbies and weird opinions, and I don't always think before I act. So... Also, when you donate, for how long does the Donor title appear in your profile? I was thinking maybe you could encourage people to donate by making the Titty Board only accessible to Donors, while all the other forums accessible according to current rules and regulations. Might encourage folks to donate, and wouldn't be like a pay-for-porn site since there's no fixed rate. Probably someone's already thought of this, but figured I'd suggest it anyway. Me I'm fixing to donate as soon as I literally can, may be just five bucks at first but I WILL donate something. Just not via that Yahoo thing...I don't trust those fuckers one bit. Thanks for hearing me out. Hoping for a friendly reply.

re: banned members. from my understanding, either -
1. under 18 -> insta-ban. 2. behaviour probs -> fair warning(s), then ban if need be. so, no worry for you to just suddenly dissapear

Don't worry about getting banned. The vast majority of people who suddenly disappear are banned because they're under 18, and for legal reasons, we can't allow them on the site. Sometimes these people are great members, and we don't want to ban them, but we have to in order to comply with federal law. If being underage was their only offense, they can come back once they can prove that they're over 18.
The Titty Board is gone, and won't be back in any form that you would recognize. Donor tags are permanent, but take a while to appear due to the fact that they have to individually put on each member. If you do screw up, we give you the courtesy of a warning or two (depending on severity) before we give you the boot. |

I'm not familiar with either of those terms...and I'm not going to ask. However, it's harder to avoid doing something when you don't know what to avoid.
Knowing how open-minded TFP is in general, I'll assume it's sicker shit than even I am capable of. [edit] Ohhh, fuck. Nevermind. I've no worries in that regard. Geeeez.

I am just curious to know what form it will be back in and when. How different will it be? Will it still be as cool as it was before? I am just wondering I know many others have wondered as well.
