Referrals?
 

I noticed that there was a "referal" count in the cp, but I don't think I've ever seen a "refer someone to the TFP" link or similar - I've got a few people I've told to come here, but they never quite do - If I could send them a official "you have been referred" email it may prompt them, and also I would get a number other than 0 in that box!

Is this a redundant function or am I being blind?

Actually, when a new member signs up, there is a field for them to fill out with the nick of the person that refered them. Then that person gets "credit" for the referal. We don't actively recruit members for the board...they find us. Especially if you tell 'em about us. ;)

hmmm i always thought a referal was being introuble... difrent defenition...
